Chanel Joy Puaalaonalani Wise

Chanel Joy Puaalaonalani Wise, 21, born and raised in Hawaii. It was apparent that dancing the Hula and Tahitian would come quite naturally. By the age of sixteen, Chanel launched her career as a professional Polynesian Dancer for Malu Productions, performing locally, nationally and internationally. The dances of Polynesia represent the islands of Hawaii, Samoa, New Zealand, and Tahiti. This truly shows the versatility of this dynamic young women.
On December 17, 2006 Chanel placed in two categories Evening gown and Swim Suit, which ultimately lead her to be crowned as Miss Hawaii USA 2007. This was her second attempt at the title, as she had placed third runner-up in 2004. Chanel represented Hawaii in the nationally broadcasted Miss USA 2007 pageant which was filmed live from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California and placed in the top 10 an honor for our island girl.
Her resume also includes model for ADR Model and Talent Agency, a television host for Countdown Hawaii, and a spokesperson for issues dealing with women’s health and eating disorders. |
