Michelle Malulani Ake

Founder, producer, choreographer, educator, and mentor

Michelle Malulani Ake is regarded in Hawaiʻi’s entertainment industry as an innovative producer and choreographer with an extensive background in Polynesian performing arts. From a young age, she has captivated audiences at home and in more than 26 countries around the world, sharing the stories and traditions of Polynesia through dance.

Her career includes appearances in Hollywood motion pictures, music videos, and performances for notable guests and celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Van Halen, Snoop Dogg, Steven Seagal, Lionel Richie, Kimora Lee Simmons, U2, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Don Cheadle, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Now celebrating 27 years with Malu Productions, Michelle has built a company known for creating memorable cultural experiences. Under her leadership, Malu’s cast and crew focus on entertaining, engaging, and energizing audiences while proudly sharing the rich heritage of Polynesia.

Michelle’s business leadership is grounded in strong values and a deep commitment to people. She prioritizes the health and well-being of performers and staff, understands the importance of community, and continues to uplift the music and dance of Polynesia that have been perpetuated for generations.

Titus-Maximus Tanuvasa represents the second generation of leadership at Malu Productions. His journey began at a young age, learning the demands of live entertainment from the ground up.

His experience spans performance, production, logistics, and operations.

As Director of Operations, Titus-Maximus supports daily show operations, staffing, venue coordination, performance standards, training, and team development.
